First-year master's student Uemura received an Excellent Presentation Award at the 96th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Bacteriology. The award is open to graduate students and those within one year of receiving their degree, and 15 presentations were selected out of about 150. Thank you to everyone who evaluated his work. The figures are gradually coming together, so a paper should not be far off. It was also featured on the UEC website.
