ISME20 にて中根が発表しましたDaisuke presented at ISME20

国際微生物生態学会に初めて参加しました。ニュージーランドのオークランドで開催された学会で、規模が大きくて驚きました。上村くんも一緒に参加する予定だったのですが、要旨の登録を忘れるという痛恨のミスにより、残念ながら不参加となりました。

ニュージーランドでは日本でよく見るカメムシが嫌われているようで、空港でも掲示がありました。

This was my first time attending the International Society for Microbial Ecology meeting. It was held in Auckland, New Zealand, and I was surprised by how big it was. Uemura was supposed to come too, but he made the painful mistake of forgetting to submit his abstract, so unfortunately he couldn't take part.

The stinkbugs we often see in Japan seem to be unwelcome in New Zealand, and there were even notices about them at the airport.
