パシフィコ横浜で開催された第48回分子生物学会年会において、中根が講演を行いました。「温泉微生物がもつ耐熱細胞外殻の分子機構」というミニシンポジウムで、「逆流のダンス ー 高速水流を乗りこなす好熱細菌の外殻の秘密」というタイトルで講演をしました。

夜は Thermus Q の皆さんと交流をしました。

ちなみに、下記が写真です。シンポジウム後に撮影したのですが、ちょうどその時に中根が不在だったため、生成AIに追加してもらいました。玉腰先生、別所先生、根本先生はそのままです。

Nakane gave a talk at the 48th Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan, held at Pacifico Yokohama. In the mini-symposium "Molecular mechanisms of heat-resistant cell envelopes in hot-spring microbes", the talk was titled "Dancing upstream: the secret of the envelope of thermophilic bacteria that ride fast water flow".

In the evening, we got together with the Thermus Q members.
