微生物生態学会で10人くらい発表をしました。調布北の高校生と上村くんが受賞しました。

2025年9月8-10日に開催された日本微生物生態学会第38回大会で参加・発表をしました。上村くん、成田くん、佐藤くん、常田さん、田淵さん、長坂さんの 6名がポスター発表、横濱さんと小倉くんの 2人が口頭発表をしました。

上村くんは、ポスター発表賞を受賞しました。過去にも賞をもらっているので、なんだか申し訳ない気持ちもありますが、ポスターは人気でしたので、上村くんも喜んでいました。評価してくださったみなさま、ありがとうございます。

高校生のポスター発表では、調布北高校の 2人がポスター賞を受賞しました。探求の授業の一環で、ラボで実験をしています。大学院生のみなさんは実験操作などを教えてくれています。ただ、テーマは高校生自身が考えたものを進めています。発表した3人とTAの3人で記念撮影です。

We attended and presented at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology, held on September 8-10, 2025. Six members (Uemura, Narita, Sato, Tsuneta, Tabuchi, and Nagasaka) gave poster presentations, and two (Yokohama and Ogura) gave oral presentations.

Uemura won a poster presentation award. He has won awards before, so I feel a little sheepish, but his poster was popular and he was happy. Thank you to everyone who evaluated his work.

In the high school poster session, two students from Chofu-kita High School won poster awards. They do experiments in our lab as part of their inquiry-based learning class. Our graduate students teach them experimental techniques, but the research themes are their own ideas. Here's a commemorative photo of the three presenters and the three TAs.
