オープンキャンパスで研究室公開をしました

11月24日（日）に電通大のオープンキャンパスがありました。私たちの研究室を公開し、たくさんの方に来ていただきました。

私たちの研究室では「ラボ体験」として、微生物を顕微鏡で観察をできるようにしました。小学生もやってきて、動き回る微生物に驚いていました。また、現役の大学生・大学院生が研究室での生活についても、説明をしました。高校生のみさなんは大学入学後のイメージが明確になったかもしれません。

今日はいい天気でした。調布祭（電通大の大学祭）も同時に行われていました。正門にあったモニュメントも素敵です。

The UEC open campus was held on Sunday, November 24. We opened our lab and lots of people came to visit.

As a "lab experience," we let visitors observe microbes under the microscope. Even elementary school kids came by and were amazed by the microbes zipping around. Our undergraduate and graduate students also talked about what life in the lab is like. High school students may now have a clearer picture of life after entering university.

The weather was great today. The Chofu Festival (UEC's school festival) was held at the same time. The monument at the main gate looked great too.
