横濱さん、島田くん、小倉くん、石神さんが微生物生態学会でポスター発表賞を受賞しました

10/28-10/31 に日本微生物生態学会第37回広島大会に参加・発表をしました。

学術変革B との共催で、自由集会を開催しました。「微生物学と理工学をマッチングさせてみよう」というタイトルです。

上村くん、横濱さん、島田くん、小倉くん、石神さんがポスター発表をしました。島田くんは電通大菅研、小倉くんは農工大村山研、石神さんは琉大下地研・産総研菊池グループがメインの所属で、私は共著です。会場の前で集合写真をとりました。逆光でまぶしそうにしています。

横濱さん、島田くん、小倉くん、石神さんがポスター発表賞を受賞しました。評価してくださったみなさま、ありがとうございます。修士の部の副賞は、広島の日本酒でした。2種類ありましたが、学生さんは「酔心」をいただきました。みなさん、嬉しそうです。

面白い発表がいっぱいで楽しめました！大会の運営にかかわったみなさま、ありがとうございます。

From 10/28 to 10/31, we attended and presented at the 37th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology in Hiroshima.

Together with our Transformative Research Areas (B) project, we organized an open session titled "Let's match microbiology with science and engineering."

Uemura, Yokohama, Shimada, Ogura, and Ishigami presented posters. Shimada's main affiliation is the Kan lab at UEC, Ogura's is the Murayama lab at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and Ishigami's is the Shimoji lab at the University of the Ryukyus and the Kikuchi group at AIST; I'm a co-author. We took a group photo in front of the venue. The sun was behind us, so everyone is squinting.

Yokohama, Shimada, Ogura, and Ishigami won poster presentation awards. Thank you to everyone who recognized their work. The extra prize for the master's category was Hiroshima sake. There were two kinds, and the students received "Suishin." Everyone looks happy.

There were lots of interesting talks, and we had a great time! Thank you to everyone who helped run the meeting.
