Nakane gave an online talk at Yume Navi Live. More than 100 high school students took part. I introduced The University of Electro-Communications, gave a tour of the lab, and we observed microbes with smartphones. We got lots of questions too. I hope it helps high school students think about their future paths. (Thanks to Uemura for helping with the lab tour.)

More about Yume Navi here. You can also watch Nakane's lecture there. It seems registration has to be done by a high school or grade as a whole. Since high school students far away can join easily, I think it's a great initiative.
