21世紀大腸菌研究会で上村くんが発表し、優秀口頭発表賞を受賞しました。

2024年6月17-18日に宮崎県・青島サンクマールで開催された「第20回21世紀大腸菌研究会」において、上村くんが優秀口頭発表賞を受賞しました。中根は海外ゲストの対応のために残念ながら不参加でしたが、とても綺麗＆おいしそうな素敵な場所で開催されたようです。

上村くんは大腸菌を扱っている訳ではありませんが、微生物をモデル生物として扱っていますので、本研究会の目的に沿っているのかなと思います。評価してくださった皆様ありがとうございました。

At the "20th 21st Century E. coli Meeting," held June 17–18, 2024 at Aoshima Sun Q Marl in Miyazaki Prefecture, Uemura won an Excellent Oral Presentation Award. Unfortunately Nakane couldn't attend because he was hosting overseas guests, but it looks like it was held in a lovely spot with beautiful scenery and tasty-looking food.

Uemura doesn't work on E. coli, but he does use microbes as model organisms, so I think his work fits the aims of this meeting. Thank you to everyone who recognized his work.
