進化学会で中根が講演をしました。Nakane gave a talk at the Society of Evolutionary Studies, Japan

私たちの領域「微生物が動く意味」の共催で、進化学会においてシンポジウムを開催しました。インペリアルの Eli Cohen さんと、大阪公立大の木山花さんにも講演いただきました。

台風がきていたのでドキドキでしたが、大きな影響がなく開催できてほっとしました。

若い人からたくさん質問がもらえたのが印象的でした。若い人が元気な学会はとっても素敵です。

Co-hosted by our research area "Why Microbes Move," we organized a symposium at the Society of Evolutionary Studies, Japan meeting. Eli Cohen from Imperial College London and Kiyama from Osaka Metropolitan University also gave talks.

A typhoon was approaching, so we were nervous, but we were relieved that it went ahead without any major impact.

What stood out was how many questions we got from young people. A conference full of energetic young researchers is a wonderful thing.
