微生物生態学会で中根が講演を行いました。

11/2（水）17:00-19:00 微生物生態学会第35回大会にて、中根と秋田県立大の竹下さんがコンビーナ―をつとめたセッション（自由集会）を開催しました。セッションのタイトルは、「うごき」と「かたち」から眺める微生物生態学、です。中根は講演も行いました。学術変革Bのメンバーから、菊池さんと和田さんも講演をされました。また、北大の西上さん、筑波大の八幡さんにも招待講演をしていただきました。

対面形式の学会は久しぶりで、とても刺激的でした（写真撮影時にはマスクをはずしています）。

On Wednesday, 11/2, 17:00-19:00, at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology, Nakane and Takeshita (Akita Prefectural University) organized a session (free meeting). The session was titled "Microbial ecology seen through 'movement' and 'shape'". Nakane also gave a talk. Kikuchi and Wada, members of the KAKENHI Transformative Research Areas (B) project, spoke as well. We were also glad to have invited talks from Nishigami (Hokkaido University) and Yawata (University of Tsukuba).

It was our first in-person meeting in a while, and it was very stimulating. (We took our masks off only for the photo.)
